Reading books in bed

This morning Wesley woke up earlier than usual, so we let him lay in bed with us to read books. We read the first book twice, and then he said "Just wait... I find second book." He jumped down, ran into his room and came back with another book.

As Daddy started reading to him, he said "Daddy, I read to YOU!" He started reading the book, and then began asking questions (like we always ask him!) "Daddy, what color is dat?" "What animal is dat?" As Daddy would answer, Wes would say "great job!" and "yes, dat's right!"

Also this morning, Wesley was laying upside-down on the couch and said "Mommy, I wrong-side down!"
