First St. Pat's Field Trip!

Wesley went on his first St. Pat's Field trip last Tuesday. Not a day has passed since then that he hasn't asked "when are we going on a field trip again?" He had so much fun!

Ms. Riley and Ms. Sarah planned a field trip to The Garden Spot in Jane Lew and then lunch at Pizza Hut in Weston. It was a lot of fun!

At The Garden Spot the kids got a tour of the grounds and got to go close to Jesse's Run to look for fish and other wildlife. It is such a unique, and somewhat odd, little place - and the kids LOVED it! The adults did too!

Ms. Riley and Ms. Sarah, Wesley's preschool teachers, are absolutely amazing. They remind me of the nicest drill sergeants that you've ever met. How they keep a group of 10 three-year olds in line, I will never know! Here's Ms. Riley reminding everyone to use "good listening ears"...



"Grandma Pumpkin" at The Garden Spot gave the tour, and she named every single tree, bush, plant, and flower that we passed...




After the tour all of the kids got to choose a pumpkin to take home, and also got a freshly picked apple and some Halloween candy!




Each of them got to investigate a HUGE pumpkin too... Wes decided it was a pretty good drum!


After leaving The Garden Spot, we went to Pizza Hut and at pizza, which the kids thought was a BLAST! Seeing the 10 of them sit together at one big table was so fun! Wesley thought it was really awesome that he got to "go out to eat" with all of his "St. Pat's friends."

Wesley can't wait to go on his next field trip!
