Pittsburgh Zoo & Pirates Game

On Saturday we took a day trip up to Pittsburgh! We left early and made the 2 hour trip north, and made our first stop at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium. It was a lot of fun, and Wesley loved it - especially the aquarium!

We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe at Station Square, and then made our way to PNC Park for Wesley's very first Pirates game!



Uh oh... here comes the storm...


And there comes the rain...



After a 45 minute game delay, the rain stopped and the sun came out. Time to PLAY BALL!



Wesley had so much fun! He loved clapping when the fans clapped...


At sunset, the red sky made the buildings downtown look bronzed, and there was a huge rainbow - it was beautiful!


We didn't stay for the whole game (which ended up going to 13 innings!), since we had to drive home that night - but it was such a fun day!!
