We bought him this pair of shoes at Children's Place before he was even born - they are adorable camo, and perfectly match a Baby Gap outfit that we bought. I envisioned a pristinely dressed little boy with nicely matching shoes. Instead we have a half-dressed boy who would rather chew on his shoes than wear them on his feet. But I must say, it's adorable!
I'm not sure why he finds these particular shoes so great to chew on, but since they don't stay on as well as his Stride Rite shoes - he pulls them off his feet within 15 seconds of being dressed. He's never even worn them out of the house! So we've given up on the camo shoes.
Now, instead of being in his dresser, the shoes stay in his toy box. And despite the fact that he has 50 toys in his toy box of every shape and size, he makes a bee-line for one of the camo shoes every single time.
