Washington, DC weekend trip

Steve and I have always wanted to go to DC during the peak Cherry Blossom time, but never have. A couple of weeks ago we decided that we would take a long weekend to go, and we're so glad that we did!

On Friday the weather was beautiful, so once we checked into our hotel four blocks from the White House, we walked around street shopping and found a nice place to eat. On Saturday we woke up to rain - and lots of it - so we went to the aquarium for the morning. Niki wasn't feeling well and had to go back to the hotel, and while she rested we took a cab down to see some of the monuments.

Steve, Niki and Tyler went too and minus Niki being sick on Saturday, we had a great time! A few pics...
