The good news is that he did so much better than I'd expected. Of course he cried for a minute, but as soon as I picked him up he stopped crying and only wimpered for a few minutes. Poor Steve - I think the shots were harder on him than Wesley, because he had to hold his legs during the shots.
By the time we got out to the truck, Wesley was all smiles. He has been a little cranky this evening, but nothing like I had imagined - thank goodness!
Even thought he's doing fine, seeing the band-aids on his little legs makes me a kind of sad...
